WPSW are industrial side channel fans with a high pressure centrifugal impeller. The fans of the WPSW series are dedicated mainly to local exhausts requiring very high pressures, e.g. for central vacuuming, for vacuum pneumatic transport, for exhaust fumes, etc.
WPSW fans are adapted to pump a relatively large amount of air and dirt through small cross-sections of piping. The main feature of the fan is its impeller. A highly efficient radial impeller with backward curved blades with a geometry dedicated to high pressures (small air inlet and large diameter) is used. A steel rotor with welded joints of a very solid construction, thanks to which it can transport both gases, oil mist and dust. WPSW fans are equipped with three-phase motors designed for continuous operation. All WPSW fans have adjustable speed and work at elevated temperatures (up to 60 oC). At the customer’s request, the TYWENT factory also manufactures centrifugal fans for operation at high temperatures (120-200 oC).
