WDS EC is a series of energy-saving roof fans with horizontal air discharge.
WDS EC has been designed with users of comfort ventilation in mind. Due to the light and compact design, WDS EC fans can be used wherever access to the ventilation opening is difficult, e.g. on gravitational ventilation chimney shafts or directly on steel pipes of ventilation chimneys. The fans of the WDS EC series are successfully used e.g. on such facilities as: housing cooperatives, schools, kindergartens, public utility buildings, shops, tenement houses and single-family houses. WDS EC fans are also often used as exhaust fans for small gastronomy (kitchen hoods, small gastronomy, Food-trucks).
The fans are equipped with an energy-saving DC motor with 230V power supply (so-called EC). The EC motor allows for a very wide speed control (practically from 0 to 100%) without causing the motor to overheat. Thanks to this, the user can easily adjust the fan parameters to actual needs. The fan is equipped with a standardized control system with a 0-10V signal, a simple and cheap EC controller is enough to regulate the speed. The fan can also be controlled by smart home systems as a function of temperature or pressure. An additional advantage of the fans is low energy consumption, especially at reduced speed (up to several times lower power consumption than in the case of traditional motors). The fans are equipped with a mounting flange for mounting on standardized bases and mounting plates, which are also in the TYWENT offer.
